Position Summary

The Employment Coach position at The Drop-In Center was created to enhance the Supported Employment and Supported Education Services that the Drop-In Center offers to clients. The Employment Coach is responsible for providing guidance, education, and support to young people as they make decisions that will guide their career and education choices for their future. The Employment Coach serves as the point person on collaborating with external resources to build partnerships with potential employers and prepare young adults with SPMI to not only obtain employment, but also maintain employment as well. The Employment Coach plays a key role on the interdisciplinary team at the Drop-In Center and takes lead on initiatives geared toward enhancing the Supported Employment services offered at The Spot.

Role and Responsibilities

This position provides case management to the participants in the program and the primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

The Full Time Supported Employment Coach works an average of 80 hours bi-weekly
